Occupational health assessment

When an employee has a long-term absence, you want clarity: what is still possible and what is needed for a sustainable return to work? An occupational health examination offers that insight. It helps you and your employee to take specific steps towards recovery, with clear advice on the capacity of the employee and the load in the job.

Clear answers for reintegration

During an occupational health examination, an employment expert expert assesses whether the work is still appropriate to the employee's medical capabilities. It looks at the balance between what someone can handle (the load capacity) and what the work requires (the workload).

What does an occupational health examination answer?

An occupational health examination answers the following questions:

  • Can the employee return to his or her own position?

  • Are adjustments possible in current work?

  • Are there other positions within your organization that are a better fit (Track 1)?

  • Are there opportunities in the labor market to guide the employee to other work with another employer (track 2)?

By getting answers to these questions, the employment expert expert determines what the most optimal reintegration plan looks like for the employee.

Avoid delays and costs

A properly conducted investigation prevents delays in the reintegration process. It helps to draw up a plan that meets the requirements of the Gatekeeper's Improvement Act and prevents unnecessary costs or labor disputes. In addition, it provides valuable support in preparing for a WIA examination.

Our sister organization Puls is a specialist in occupational health research, reintegration and mobility and is happy to think with you about the best suitable route to sustainable recovery.
