Drivers/driving license examinations
When you are on the road (a lot), it is not only important to guard your own safety, but also that of other road users. In some situations, therefore, a person must undergo a driver's license examination to be declared "fit to drive. Age, health problems, medication or a disability may be reasons for declaring someone 'not fit to drive'.
This is assessed during a medical examination. One of our doctors will perform the driver's license examination, also known as the CBR examination. The examination results are then sent directly to the CBR digitally, and a CBR doctor will assess whether you are fit to drive.
Driver inspection for professional drivers
Are you a truck or bus driver? If so, you bear extra responsibility. You drive a large and heavy vehicle, and drivers often spend many hours at a time on the road. Drivers with a C1, C, D1 or D license (possibly with E) are therefore subject to stricter rules. This license must be renewed every 5 years through a mandatory driver's examination.
